SPI inks key Nigerian deal with Anttention Media’s White Label Content Streaming Platform “VeeTee”
SPI International/Filmbox has signed an agreement with Anttention Media.
Under it, the African digital video and audio streaming platform VeeTee will provide eight 24-hour TV channels and a VOD service through their sister company Edentek to the telco giant MTN. VeeTee is a white label subscription based content powerhouse with over 1,000 hours of On-demand content plus 8 linear channels. This platform is changing Africa’s digital landscape and assisting African content creators monetize their creative offerings.
The eight channels in question are FilmBox Africa, FilmBox Art House, DocuBox, FashionBox, FightBox, Fast&FunBox, 360TuneBox and Gametoon. They will be joined by FilmBox OnDemand.
Commenting on the development, Amit Karni, head of distribution Africa for SPI / Filmbox, said: “The launch of FilmBox channels on VeeTee’s Mobile TV services is a major milestone for SPI’s African strategy.
